The Ask

Attract new customers and cross-sell products and services to existing customers by promoting BMO Harris’s new products for small business.

The Answer

Promote the flexible suite of BMO solutions, through an integrated campaign that included direct mail, video, point-of-sale, digital, social and print.

BMO Harris Bank, owned by BMO Financial Group in Canada, provides a broad range of personal banking products and solutions through over 600 branches and approximately 1,300 ATMs across the nation. BMO saw an opportunity to aquire new small business customers and cross-sell products and services to existing customers by marketing its Small Business Builder, a product and service suite that includes a customizable array of banking, cash management and lending services. McGuffin was tasked with developing the rollout and marketing for this new product suite.

Building from an idea.

Leveraging the flexible aspect of the suite of solutions, McGuffin developed the theme, “Build Your Business Your Way.” We applied the campaign theme to a robust, integrated campaign that included print, a wide range of digital elements, social media and a video promoting PAYD, a point-of-sale payment solution. Additionally, McGuffin developed in-branch materials, including posters and animated plasmas.
