The Ask

Young Dental asked us to manage content creation for its Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages, with the goal of reaching 20,000 total Likes/followers by the end of the year.

The Answer

Develop an in-depth social media marketing strategy and content schedule to engage Young’s niche audience of registered dental hygienists (RDHs).

Young Dental is one of the nation’s largest manufacturers of dental hygiene products. Over the years they had built a solid social media foundation among their target audience: registered dental hygienists (RDHs) who typically manage their dental office’s inventory. In tapping McGuffin, Young was looking to enhance their social content quality to drive engagement and reach, and to ultimately improve education and sales of products.

Harnessing the powerful sense of community among RDHs, McGuffin ran contests and giveaways (resulting in engagement from thousands of users), shared offers valuable to RDHs, covered relevant industry events and shared photos sourced from RDHs who already used and loved Young products. We also shared inspirational messages that would make any RDH proud of their career, and we even started a series portraying working guygienists (male hygienists).
